Manteresting is an application, much like Pinterest, that features content and images. However, the entire site is dedicated to all things manly. Manteresting essentially bookmarks things across the Internet that men would find interesting. Users of the site can browse through all of the Manteresting links or they can sort it by those which are "Top Voted," "Wall of Shame," or through other categories. Users of the site can add content to their own profile on Mannteresting of the things that they like. The user can then sort their items by "workbenches" such as "DIY Projects" or "Things that make me laugh." There is also a Manteresting bookmarklet so the users can "nail down" items that they come across as they are searching the web to their Manteresting profile.
Manteresting is an application that was co-founded by two guys with the intent to make the Internet more interesting for guys. As of May 2012, the application was in its beta. Manteresting launched in February 2012.
Manteresting is similar to Pinterest, however it is focused just on guys and stuff that guys like. It has a bookmarklet so users can pin items that they like while they are surfing the net and they don't have to re-login to Materesting in order to nail it to their profile there.
Manteresting is in its beta and they admit that there might be some bugs or issues. However, none were encountered during this review. The site is designed with a manly touch and is meant to appeal to dudes with its black and grey motif.
To signup for Manteresting, users can either sync their Twitter, Facebook or they can sign up using their standard personal information.
Manteresting is a free application to use.
Manteresting would be a useful site for any guys out there who are looking for an image-type bookmarking application or who simply want to browse a site that has lots of manly things to look at.
